Open House Historic Preservation Weekend May 1st. and 2nd. 2010 Join us!

There are a number of historic locations that are being held open to the general public this weekend. As part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express grant of one million dollars. The properties are all competing for a share of the preservation money. The property that receives the most votes will receive a grant based on being the public’s favorite. You can vote every day for your favorite by following this link.

This weekend five local locations will be held open.

"Make No Little Plans" — Luzon Memorial Show

While not directly related to buying or selling a home in Tacoma the upcoming “Make No Little Plans” — Luzon Memorial Show is something that we feel very good about sharing with our readers.

The Luzon building was recently torn down and the upcoming art show is a celebration of the building and the memories of the building by anyone who has lived in Tacoma.

The show starts December 17th. and runs to January 10th. 2010.

Thursday, December 17th, 5 pm to 9 pm
Sunday, December 20th, noon to 5 pm
Open by appointment after the 20th; show closes Jan 10th.
